Alert! Phishing Scam targeting State Bar of Arizona members
The State Bar of Arizona has been alerted to an email circulating that purports to be from me, Joel F. England, Executive Director/CEO of the State Bar of Arizona.
This is not from the State Bar of Arizona and is a phishing scam. If you receive an email from j.f.england@member-azbar.org please do not open it or click on any attachments, simply delete it.
This is an example of the language used in the phishing message:
“By way of introduction, my name is Joel F. England, Chief Executive Officer, State Bar of Arizona. This is a follow up on the attached confidential request for [your firm’s name] which was sent directly to you last week. Please let me know if you didn't receive the earlier email and I'll resend it.”
We apologize for any confusion caused by those who generated this phishing message.
