Letter of Good Standing

A Letter of Good Standing issued by the State Bar of Arizona attests to a member’s status as of the date of issuance. Letters of Good Standing do not include disciplinary history.

To request a Letter of Good Standing contact the Resource Center: 602.340.7239 or membership@staff.azbar.org.

The fee for a Letter of Good Standing is $20 and can be paid by credit card. 

Once payment has been processed, the Letter of Good Standing can be issued, typically within 48 hours. An electronic copy is available. Hard copy may be sent upon request.

Note:  Letters of Good Standing are not accepted by all jurisdictions. Some jurisdictions require a Certificate of Good Standing, issued by the highest court of the state. For further information on Certificates of Good standing click here.
