Civil Practice and Procedure Committee

Mission

Study and make recommendations on proposals and/or issues involving the various rules impacting civil practice as submitted by the State Bar, third parties, and court-appointed committees and commissions.  Prepare petitions regarding rule amendments and comments on third-party petitions as deemed necessary.  Assist the superior court with local-rule conformance and restyling efforts.

Time Commitment: The Committee meets approximately 8 times per year, usually on the first Thursday of the month, for up to 1.5 hours.  Additional time may be required outside of the scheduled meetings.
