Future Practitioner Award
The Criminal Justice Section is pleased to announce the “Future Practitioner Award” which will provide six $1,000 scholarships (three for UofA, and three for ASU) for the 2019-2020 academic year. Selection will be based upon the following criteria: academic achievements in general; specific achievements in the area of criminal justice regarding class work, papers, clinics, clerkships, internships, or other related experiences; future plan regarding work in the criminal justice system; explanation of source of interest in this area of the law; and statement of financial need.
A committee of representatives of the Criminal Justice Section of the State Bar will select the recipient based upon a review of written application materials. Students must fill out and an application and supply the required documentation. Application materials must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid in the College of Law, by e-mail or in person.
