Q. Is there a way to go back to the old Fastcase? A. At this time, you can revert back to Fastcase 7 by navigating to the head and shoulders person icon in the upper right corner and scrolling down to just above Logout and click on Return to Fastcase 7.
Q. How do I search in vLex Fastcase? A. The search bar on vLex Fastcase is in a different location than it was in Fastcase 7. The search bar is at the top center of the page. In most browsers this will be a white line across the top that says "Search" on one side and "Arizona" on the other. It is to the left of the Vincent AI button. You can also perform an Advanced Search using the spyglass option on the left side of the page.
Q. How do I change the default jurisdictions for my search? A. There are two ways to adjust the jurisdictions you are searching. The first method is to select the arrow next to the jurisdiction(s) that are showing on the right hand side of the search bar and ensuring there is a check mark next to all jurisdictions you want to be included in your results. The second method is to use the Advanced Search option with the spyglass on the left side of the page. From the advanced search, you can select your jurisdiction, the type of content you want to search (eg. only cases or statutes) and use the provided word search boxes to narrow down your search easily without needing to understand boolean operators.
