    Attorney Doreen N. McPaul elected President of State Bar of Arizona

    TUCSON – Attorney Doreen N. McPaul has been elected President of the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors. She will serve in the role for the next year.

    McPaul has more than 20 years of legal experience and serves as an in-house attorney for several Arizona tribes. She is the former Navajo Nation Attorney General.

    The State Bar also announced the members of its executive team on the Board of Governors.

    Kelsi Lane transitions from Vice President to President-Elect. She is a partner at Frazer Ryan Goldberg & Arnold LLP in Phoenix. Lane will ascend to the presidency in 2027.

    Chris Russell is the new Vice President. He owns his own practice in Cochise County.

    Louis Fidel joins the leadership group as Secretary-Treasurer. Fidel is a partner at Piccarreta Davis Keenan Fidel PC in Tucson.

    S.J. Shannon was elected President of the Young Lawyers Division and Charles Thomson was elected President of the Senior Lawyers Division.

    Page Chancellor joins the Board as a Governor after winning the election in District 5 (Pima and Santa Cruz counties). Chancellor is a managing partner with Goldberg & Osborne LLP.

    Outgoing Board President Sam Saks will transition to the role of Board Advisor.
