The State Bar mourns the loss of Judge Rosa Mroz
Statement from State Bar President regarding Judge Rosa Mroz
Feb. 8, 2022 - PHOENIX - We are deeply saddened at the passing of Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Rosa Mroz over the weekend. Judge Mroz spent nearly 20 years on the bench. She said it was experiences as an immigrant from Taiwan and becoming a naturalized citizen at age 18 that helped draw her into law, wehre she became of the first judges of Asian descent in Maricopa County. Those who came before her in court knew her not for being a trailblazer, but for being someone who offered compassion and respect. Judge Mroz will be be missed by all who had the benefit of knowing her. The Board of Governors offers its sincere condolences to the Mroz family.
