Governing Structure
The State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors oversees the policy making and operations of the organization. The Board is comprised of 29 people, four of whom are non-attorney, public members. Attorney members of the Board are elected to three-year staggered terms by peers in their district.
The Board is led by four officers who are elected by the Board members. Those officers are president, president-elect, vice president, and secretary-treasurer. The CEO/Executive Director oversees the State Bar's operations and professional staff.
