Outstanding In-House Counsel of the Year Award

Recognizing an Arizona in-house counsel that has made outstanding contributions to the in-house counsel practice and the community at large. The recipient of this award is a respected strategic and innovative leader who exemplifies the following traits: sound and trusted judgment, excellent legal and business acumen, vision, leadership, integrity and ethics. 2021 Recipient

Mark Rogers is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Amkor Technology, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services.

Mark has been an in-house lawyer since 1999. He is the President of the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and previously served as Chair of ACC’s Corporate and Securities Law Committee, working on programming and committee activities for the 8,000+ committee members globally.

Mark has also participated in work for the Bar. He was appointed by two Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justices to Committees and served on the Bar’s In-House Committee in the Committee’s first year in 2008. He is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Mark is a graduate of The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut, received an A.B. in French Civilization and an A.B. in History from Brown University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa), studied in France during high school and college, and received his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. He is a supporter of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and three dogs (all Braque du Bourbonnais), traveling, photography and an occasional game of tennis.
